Strange clicking noise

   i bought a saxo vts last night and found that there is a strange clicking noise coming from the passenger front wheel. its just like the sound a push bike freewheel makes when you stop peddliing. it comes and goes ?! any help no idea what this is jonny

   I have the same noise & I suspect a wheel bearing but not 100% sure.

   From the wheel itself or from the area of the wheel but inside the car?

   i had a clicking noise about a month back turned out to be the wheel bearing. only did it when setting off first thing though. jack it up see if wheel turns easy. had to use 2 arms to turn mine. guy at garage said there were no bearings left hardly. or check drive shaft. brakes?

   the sound comes from outside, assuming from the wheel. not good luck so far with the car, clocks went off n speedo revs ect froze aswell when i flicked full beam on

   indicator stalk might be knackerd or dodgy connection somewhere. my stalk is thats saxos for ya

   but my lights on the outside all still work and i can beep etc, its just the dash, no speedo, revs, fuel, temp etc, apparently my car it doing 55mph while its sat outside as we speak haha, confused!

   have you tried disconnecting the battery for a minute or 2. i had load of warning signs and no speedo, temp was up and down like a yoyo. did that been fine since. think it resets sumtin

   shit earth/knackered battery and alternator. mine does that when im driving in the rain, not nice!
