ball joint passenger side ?

hey people,
just got a little question about my ball joint, it was about a year and 3months ago my ball joint snapped , got that all fixed, but now ive got a knocking noise again

ive jacked the car up and put a crow bar where the arm is and the ball joint is moving like it is loose, ive took it to the local garage (a mate of mine owns) hes told me i need another new ball joint, he said you dont achually have to change the arms and that the ball joint can get replaced instead, but just wanna know does anyone else go through ball joints quick on there saxo, bear in mind my car is lowered 60mm on front

they will go quicker with it being lowered that much its just something u have to put up with if your cars lowered really it puts more strain on everything with the stiffer suspension
