vts is poorley

   hi guys i have a 1997 vts which is running like a bag of shit!
   it is idling funny i cant tell you what at as my rev counter only works when it wants!! over the past few days she has been getting worse for instance when you start her from cold you have to give her some throttle or it will die then she's fine for the time being. untill the engine gets quite hot then say im sat in traffic you can feel her chugging at idle and when you rev it to keep her going it sounds like an old vw beetle if ya know what i mean? i have changed the plugs when i done an oil change different coilpack and fuelpump now i have no idea what else to try please help as its rather embarrassing not being able to keep up with a ford ka because when you floor it she dies

   blocked exhaust(cat), check compression, plug it in see if there is any fault codes in it.

   be careful if you clean the icv because they are sensetive and after being fiddled with they are quite often reluctant to return to exactly how they were before

   Sounds exactly like shit plugs.. i know you said you changed em... you looked at them lately?

   i'll check the plugs m8 only put them in about a week ago so if they are fucked would that mean coilpack?
