when i had the bonnet open the other day fitting my bonnet raisers my little brother pressed the orange rubber button by the fuse box under the hood, the next day i went to try start the car nothing i dont know what that button does can someone shine some lights this would that cause the car not to start ?.

#2cuts the fuel pump out, its fitted to sensors so when you have a crash it cuts all fuel straight away..pull off the rubber cap and reset it by pull the plastic clips up.2 users thanked this post: ,

#3just went out and did what u said then went to start the car and it doesnt do anything it just makes a ticking noise
thhen when i turn the key back it makes a weird noise like something hydrolic moving. it doesnt even make the turning over noise like the coughing sort of noise
. any ideas

As said its the fuel cut off, it needs to pop back up. -

#9try hook something under the white peice of plastic, but be careful they are bit of a bitch to reset, i only found out as happened to me wen i hit a massive pot hole and my car just cut out all of a sudden.

#10When mine cut out (after hitting a pot hole) i just popped the bonnet and pressed it down again it and like popped up.
