vts cammed

just wandering if i had got a vts mk2 and camme it up with a 4-1 and de cat with superchip and remap and inside stripped out and have 2 bucket seats in there. what sort of bhp would you be talking and would it be worth it performance wise\money wise and a rough cost of doing all this thanks

Avoid the superchip - just get a remap.

Power will depend on the cams / manifold & exhaust!

yer it was just an idea to do what bhp would you expect from all this and a rough cost

I'd take a look at how you ask questions on here. From reading the above post you give the impression you're sat on mac donalds car park, asking these questions off a stolen iPhone.

In answer to your question, the simple modifications of:

    Induction Kit
    Manifold
    Fast road Cams
    Exhaust system
    Remap

Usually give around the 145-150bhp figures.

As someone already stated have a search, maybe read some peoples progress threads. When you ask questions like "if i got a mark 2 vts and cammed it up blahblah". People on here straight away presume your an idiot. Its like asking, "how longs a piece of string?". Cams are different, theres different makes, with different durations, lift, etc.

The most common cams for a saxo/106 are newman ph3s, or catcam 708s, these are the ones that are pretty much as wild as you can go without needing throttlebodies (or similar). And can be used on road (once mapped).

Dont forget though, buying these bits is pretty much pointless without upgrading you suspension, chassis, brakes.
