battery problems

    somthing keeps draining my battery! ive put a new 1 in and it starts but not to well and its better when its been out for a run but as soon as i leave it for the night it has trouble starting

    alternator, not charging battery when your out then when u try start it next morning no charge ? take it to kwik fit , free alt and battery check

    You need to get your self a amperemeter.
    Then take the ignition of, key out, and the interior light off.
    Then take one of the battery connections of and put the amperemeter in between battery and the connection you just took of. Then you should get a readout of how much current the car is currently using. When everything is shut of and car is at a standstill it should not use more then something like 150 mAh.
    If its higher then this, you start taking out the fuses, when the current drops you know where to look for the problem.
