My mates just bought his metro TURBO back to life! after bein sat in his garage, for several years, the old skool metro turbo is probably one of the last of its kind. its took him ages to sort it all out and lots of money too about 4k which i thought was funny when he told me he had spent that on a metro, but its his pride and joy. lol he's takin me out in it soon, these things r death traps so im a bit nervous, not sure whether i should get in the car with him, if i remeber correctly you have to warm the breaks up first before they work properly!!!
pics soon maybe vids too!!!!

#2nice, the metro turbos are good fun to drive there 100bhp standard if i remember right but the gti twincam is slightly quicker, raylands have a cozzie eating orrange metro with a k series 1800 or something in it, i all ways wanted to go out in a metro 6r4 but never had the oppertunity

#3my mate has had two
a metro 1.4 gta 8v which was 83 bhp ish
a metro 1.4 gta 16v which is 100bhp and its very quick for a little car
but i would recomend he uses engine braking if hes going fast as the brakes are wank and dont slow it down quick enough
go for a spin if u trust his driving
but remember the more u go in it, the more chance of crashing ull have -
#4The 6r4 has the engine the same V6 engine that went into the Jag XJ220.... except they left the twin turbo's off lol

#5isnt "warming the brakes" a contradiction of the fact that hotter brakes work less? just a thought.....

#6I thought the 6R4's we're 4WD?
