could it be the coil pack ???

hi everyone,

in the last couple of weeks ive had a 4-2-1 branch manifold fitted on my 2000 x reg 1.4 furio, it was fitted correctly by me n a friend and since then my EML has come on n ive read on this forum that i had to sleeve the other lambda sensor (o2 sensor) ive done that tonight n still my car is chuddering when cold, once its warmed up its fine its just really annoying me n i cant put my finger on it.

its had :

new fuel filter
new oil filter
new super 4 spark plugs
oil change
new exhaust

in the last few weeks

any info thanks in advance

Is it bosch super 4's you put in ?

the super 4's can make some cars run shit in mine it basically refuses to run correctly at all. Try replacing them with ngk ones and go from there.

yeah bosch ones, but it was running badly before i changed them

Could have needed plugs before though mate, and maybe dont agree with super 4's as some dont.

Stick a set of NGKs on there, then try a new coil pack

Try and borrow the bits off a mate/local member first, save you throwing money away

had a mate round today n swapped coil packs and mine runs fine on his

cleaned the icv n throttle body n still no better tried changing back to my old standard air filter n still nothing. going on a long run to manchester and back on sunday n gunna put some redex in with the petrol maybe that could help

checked the spark plugs n they looked fine, but just because they look fine could they still be bad for the car???

this bad idle has only been happening since i had it de-cat and its driving me mad
tempted to take it to scrap yard lol
