Idling at 5k

    Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and wandered if anyone could help me

    Basically I had a low speed smack in my saxo a few weeks back had to replace some of the front end of my car had it checked out by a mechanic first. I replaced my radiator I attached my old fan just to make sure it still ran. It still ran after the smack buy wanted to test new radiator. But now when I start the car eventually, it idles at 5k and stays there. I can still rev with accelerator but it still idles at 5k. Can anyone help please?

    Idle control valve?
    Accelerator cable?

    Tried these?

    Check the throttle cable, and then clean the ICV

    Long shot but due to the bump check your sensors/electrics around the engine bay as something may have become dislodged.

    maybe a pipe has come off the inlet, or its broken seal or cracked. doubt the icv would stop working because of a small crash, but dont rule it out.

    It ran fine after smack but it since I replaced the radiator

    check vacum hose on inlet manifold

    bleed it three times minimum - royal twat to get all the air out
