Breaks like bars of soap

    What would i need to upgrade 1,1 brakes to VTR/VTS ?

    Depends if you have 3 or 4 stud hubs.
    3 stud needs new struts with the 4 stud hubs, then you'll need calipers and discs.

    Calipers, Disks and Pads for front brakes.

    Is your 1.1 the earlier 3 stud, or later 4 stud type?

    If its 3 stud type then its a little more tricky

    if you have the 3 stud, Mikol is making a set up so you can use ax gt brake discs i believe - you need 14" wheels though

    Have you checke the disks, pads and shoes to make sure they don't need replacing?
    Bled the system?

    Whilst brakes on a 1.1 won't be brilliant, they should be adequate if you are running standard power

    Waste of money converting to a 4 stud just for VTR/VTS brakes unless you plan to have a decent amount more power in future
