how low on torsion bar before it handles like a bag of shit

    ive put a new rear axle on my car and lowerd it 40 but want it low as possible with out ruinin my handling.

    im on my fourth axle now ive always droped em about 100 to 120mm and it handles shit the arse end came out wen i gve it round any corner buh i jus put up with it coz it looks good buh now i want it handlin like a go kart like it shud be coz it handles better then ever droped 40 buh it looks to high

    jus wonderin if n e one knows the limit

    how low is the front?
    and what setup is that on

    we made an old car (lees saxo) was over 100mm down and handled well enough its how the car is set up and how well its balanced tbh

    the front is 75mm low and thats on bilstein shocks and rally design springs, wen the rear was 100mm and the car was absolutly solid, the arse end jus went out all the time with the slightest bit of speed into a corner it was dangerous lol

    4th axle? Have you been lowering them the wrong way or is this just cos of being that low?

    yeah in jus under 2 years, im sure its the right way as me n my mate done mine as weve dne his and a few others n there fine buh never droped one as weve dropped mine, it may be the way i drive it the fact its two low or that im reli unlucky and i buy rear axles that are alredi on there way out lol

    120mm is far to low for a saxo and I can understand why the handling is crap since the front is likley to be a minimum of 6cm higher.

    I believe anything between 40-60mm would be fine, im 40 all round myself, its abit high but does the job

    yeah 120mm is ridiculous i jus loved the way it looked aha , im gna lower it to 60 sumtime next week, cnt go to low now coz my wheels will take my arches off ahah
