Quick question for those with Xenon HIDs (Please answer asap)

   I'm currently trying to fit my HIDs, basically the little shield which is inside the headlight, heaxagon shaped thing, do you remove this when fitting HIDs, one guide said you can if the bulbs shield touches it which mine does but wanted to make sure?

   Anybody? I don't think your meant to but some people remove either the bulb or headlamp shield?
   
   Also, some people say HIDs are fine if fitted correctly, I've fitted mine fine as far as i'm aware but they don't have a perfect beam pattern?

   I didn't remove mine, i literally fitted the ballasts and wiring and changed the bulb over...then i took it to an MOT garage to do an alignment for £20 to make sure it was ok.

   Ah thats what i've done just fitted them as is. As for the pattern they do have a beam its just like the standard halogens say if you parked facing a wall if you were close to the wall they would be like \__ \__ and if parked further away theyd be like \_______
   whereas with the xenons its like \__ \__ regardless of how close to the wall you are, is this normal?

   Mine are like that and i don't find a problem to be fair. Not sure if it's 'normal' but mine seem fine like that.
