Smoke/steam coming out the exhaust?

   I have smoke/steam coming out of my exhaust? What could be causing this? It isnt the headgasket. Could i be burning oil? My oil light also flashes on my dash. But my oil level is fine. :o

   If the smoke is a blue colour then its oil. Could be piston ring or big end, if the oil level is fine then something has gone, big time

   someone said the other day this happens if theres to much oil , and the overflow runs into the exhaust and heats up making smoke and when u put your foot down it all comes out.
