As title says guys started after I've had cam belt changed.
Any ideas and should I be worried.

Thats bollocks mate, if a tensioner or anything is whining after the belt change i wouldnt let the car leave the workshop

Don't do long drives or any unnecessary journeys! My partners was too tight n he drove his around for a bit before his mate could sort it n it was ok! But get it sorted as soon as u can tho

16V engine? If so, quite a lot of non-genuine belts make these engines sound quite whiney at high revs, i.e. Gates, Dayco etc. It's something to do with how the belt is made.
If you're in any doubt, get the tension checked, but if the tension is fine, don't worry about it. |

Who do you think make the belts for car companies? Most car companies out source parts I.e. Gates they make the cam belts for ford, I seen citreon belts but it say gates when you open it up.
