Morettes, color code them or pure black?

    Lo,

i am considering to put on some Morettes to my Saxo MK1. Base color is persian red or KKJC. Since the Morettes have to be painted to match my car, what might look best?

The bumpers and sidebars will be painted glossy black in near future, so maybe this one is the right choice for the Morettes also. Haven't seen black on Morettes with a different color on the car, thats why i try to find someone here

Get someone to PhotoShop them for you and see what you think but I reckon gloss black will look good. Wouldnt with a black bonnet though imo

get a photo up of your car and ask somebody to photoshop it, might help you choose what you want

Ok just got them off ebay for like 50 pounds
Has anyone tried to fit the black E30/34 lights from Hella on them? This would give them a mean look i hope.

i dunno whether a black bonnet would look like you just got a scrap one after yours broke or something?
mebbe carbon wrap instead? or paint the roof too so it doesnt just look like its one spare part?
but i reckon colour coded morettes

My intention ist to have a fiercy front and i don't want to destroy the overall look. Before i start spraying, i should know what is coming first and what last. A black front with black mesh could get me a more plastic look. Pretty hard to find MK1s with my setup.

mk1 saxos morettes look amazing in black with a black grill IMO, was speaking to my friend about it the other day

    or with black mesh

    what do you think?

The bumpers will be glossy black, the grille becomes color coded, once i get the paint for it. The Morettes itself have to be black, because the small lip under the repeater looks misplaced in persian red.
