   got a problem with my saxo vts 1998
   
   when its just sitting idling it runs as if it going to cut out and there a spitting noise
   
   a don't know if the timing is maybe out

   When you say a spitting noise from what you describe it sounds like car is misfiring,so could be your coil pack although there are a few other things which can cause a misfire too.
