Oil leak!

  1. #1
Hi, did a service yesterday and now my car is leaking oil. It's always done it but now it's a bit worse.

Puzzling thing is it's not xomin out the sump bolt nor the oil filter. Seems to be dropout off the gear box and dripping on to the exhaust.

Is there any areas down there to especially look out for?

    Top of engine seems dry

On 8v engines you can get an oil leak from the back corners of the rocker cover which can drip down, also look for a blocked crank case breather hose.Other than that I don`t know what to suggest mate.

turns out my exhaust was catching on my sump and has rubbed a hole right through. Looks like the manifold with the cat in is a cheap replacement part and doesnt line up to bolt to the engine
