Before you do anything, Park the car on a level ground and then have a look

If its sitting like: |----\, /----\ /----| then it's fucked

But sometimes it can decieve you, i always think my wheel is towing in slightly, so i jack the rear up and wiggle the arm for movement

Depends on how bad the camber is, if it's just a small amount then its not worth worry about

How much gap is there between the arch and the inner part of the tyre?

The rear beam may be on its way out but unless its close to rubbing the arch or your MOT is soon then I would just leave it and replace it when you have to

If you aint sure if its gone or not then it probably hasnt. Its usually quite obvious if its gone or not comparing one side to the other.

  12. #12
Need to find one, cheap as pos really!

There is a little camber but your parked on an uneven surface so may not be as bad as it looks

Jack one side up and see if there is any play
Check to see how much clearance there is between the arch and inner wheel

If you are unsure go to a garage which does MOT's and ask them to check for play
  14. #14
Ill take it to my local garage this week see if they can have a quick look
  15. #15
Also look to see if there is any uneven tyre wear on the rear. Mine were nearly bald on the inside of mine before i noticed it was fucked
  16. #16
There is play there guys! Im not sure if its the hole lot or is there like a bush kit you cany buy? Also where from?
  17. #17

Nah its fairly easy if you have the tools and are mechanically minded.

Once the brakes are off then only 4 bolts hold the entire axle to the car itself

    Invest in a haynes manual

I might just buy a low millage one off ebay if i can find one! I rang im axle they do the bush kit but it could be more then just the bushes so going to get it loked at asap! then buy a whole new beam What do you guys reckon?! Im not spending £347.00 on a new one!
