vts rocker cover leaking

   been looking at vts's recently and most ones ive been to see the rocker covers are leaking is this a serious problem someone has said it coukd be the start of the headgasket failig on a advert just after advice im looking at buying a cammed vts and the guy said it leaks a bit of oil slowly but its due to not been able to get a perfect fit?

   The J4 covers are prone to leaking as they don't have a rocker gasket that you can replace
   
   I used Loctite instant gasket sealent from Ebay (about £17) and it worked a treat
   
   As far as I am aware it has no bearing on the head gasket, I would only be worried if the oil was leaking from the HG itself

   These can be fuckers to seal sometimes
   
   
   Deffo not head gasket related though just a shit seal

   iv had to reseal my rockers 3 or 4 times pain in the ass to get done right

   Get some 5920 loctite premium copper silicone works a treat !.

   get it out of halfords its about 15 quid sure
