had day off work so decided to make a start on my new saxo with engine problems all started well found trottle pot sticking so that now sorted then alternator bolt ready to drop on belt lol that now sorted. after taking fair bit off engine decide to go back to trying to take off coil pack as the person rounded off 3 star screws and looked like he give up, i tryed everything in the end i smashed the coil pack and have ordered another one as i lifted the coil pack i notice this (a few pics taking apart then the problem)

there was about an inch of water in all 4 hole a little oily but mainly water i drained it out then took spark plugs out the tips look dry and there no signs of the head gasket going, when i started up when got it sounded alittle lumpy but was when you started driving it feels like a 1.0l lol, i cant try to see if problem sorted until got new coil pack but how can this of happened.
also today started stripping so hope soon will be on track

hmmm i know on a ford focus water/ oil like that is one of two things
    1. head core plugs fubar so leaking coolant
    2. the rocker cover gasket fubar

that could be a cam box gasket mate

he may have sprayed wd-40 etc to loosen may look like water and the oil is prob a leaky rocker cover gasket

New coil pack and service and now it fly's. I feel sorry for person I got it off as he said its going to cost £100s to fix so he sold it cheap and in the end cost me £50 lol.
Its a vts mk2 with a induction kit and japspeed central and back back (will be coming off soon lol) thats all I know has been done to it and with 59,000 miles on clock
My old vtr mk1 with induction kit, cold air feed, no cat, straight though exhaust system, cammed and remapped with 90,000 miles on clock and after all that vts still feels faster lol how come as didn't think vts was much faster than the vtr on paper
