rear bushes are screwed!!

   car went for service to be told rear bushes are on the way out can any1 replace them?? how much??

   you could easy do them yourself bud, polybushes are like 50 i think on ebay

   well they rec ther was play in the bushes or something does that mean i may need new axle?

   bushes mate they wanted to get quote for whole new axle...surely doesnt have to go that far?

   if the bushes are gone the axle does not need replacing. either there is some confusion or the garage is trying to get a way with doing more work than necessary

   tbh think they tried ripping me of cv boots split n they said replace the whole driveshaft yet some1 replaced the boot for me at a fraction of the cost for driveshaft.lol so just new bushes then?

   i think that says it all tbh, take your custom elsewhere mate
   
   edit: yes if the bushes are gone then just change them, however they are not that common to fail usually so i would confirm this by getting someone else to look at it, alternatively post up some pics on here for us to see
