   just wanted to know on a saxo vtr what can i rase the rev limit to safely on the standar engine with out it goin pop ?

   Not a lot of point mate, the 8v gives up the puff at around top revs anyway, the 16v will keep pushing for longer but vtr's are torqier (sp) low down

   i was speakin to rick p today and he sed s1 rally reves to over 7 n that is probly the safest to push it to

   Meh i'm not too sure to be honest mate. I had the saxo inbetween Vw's, but our 16v gti engine will keep pushing after 6K where as the 8v gti's would be giving up around there. I assumed it would be the same for the saxos.

   yer maybe it just feels like it has more to give as its already overfuleing slightly so wen i change gear it feels like it has more to give id be happy with a 7k rev limit realy
