just a quick question will a 60ah 600a battery fit my mk1 saxo vtr and work properly,

Check it's size, physically bigger batteries will not fit if you have the standard intake.
Saxo only needs a small battery really,
Trivia note if your interested - ah stands for 'amp hours' so a 60ah battery will deliver 1 amp for 60 hours or 2 amps for 30 hours etc.

its the same phisical size,
but its the fact im running a 3000w amp and door and boot poppers so i dont want it to die

as i have the bigger battery from my field racing buggy that i was thinking of putting in it an was wondering if it would work

As long as the physical size is the same then extra capacity (ah) is a bonus and will not do any harm what so ever Jed. Go for it mate

if you what a bigger battery with a little more power get a saxo diesel battery, bigger and more power and the fit perfectly.
Thats what im running with my twin 12" subs 2000w (apparently) amp, aftermarket alarm and other things that shouldnt really be there and it hasnt let me down at all

If the battery was empty - your alternator would take a little longer to fill it - thats the only negative.
