Ecu need help fast

    Okay I know there is a how to guide on this but I really am not confident in doing it myself but can someone unlock my ecu for me or know anywhere that does it I'm frantically trying to get my car to an MOT this is the last thing I have to do,, I'm desperate for this to be done

    Confident? All you do is undo a plug!
    Or do you mean the car won't start, hence you need an unlocked one?

    Yh I've got engine from one vtr, and ecu, immobiliser, barrel and key from a different one can I just plug in and it'll start or is the whole lot gonna need to be unlocked

    My car is just like this. Check the for sale section for an unlocked ecu or pm ryanmt as he unlocks them. Just remember to remove the immobiliser box before you fit it!

    So basically just don't connect the immobiliser box??

    Yes, but you need the ecu unlocked first.

    Ok well I've pm'd ryanmt on the barrel should I leave the immobilser pick up attached or take off n keep it out of way??

    Leave it, aslong as the immobiliser box has been removed it will be fine.
