anyone had any trouble with anything at the rear of the car after having the torsion bar lowered and using the standard dampers ? my mate keeps saying something about needing new bearings ?

Ive been told its recommended but not essential? But i guess id wanna take all precautions.. My car breaks enough as it is! -

Using the standard shocks won't affect the bearings, however if the car was lowered in the wrong way (taking off the trailing arm instead of removing the bars) it could lead to a shortened beam life as the seals usually get broken and water and dirt gets in the bearings etc. -
#6Got mine lowered 40mm last week, had the works done on it with new dampers, you might as well get it done professionally and done right with having rear dampers otherwise a year down the line it's gonna get tired and you'll have to pay again to get it sorted out mate

#7im going 40mm was gunna get sca rally to do it they told me £300 with a wheel alignment and supplying the springs no shocks, what do you think ?
