   When im going along at around 40+ and take my foot of the accelerator i can here a horrible grinding noise from the engine but when i put power down again it stops? i even tryed taking it out of gear going around 40 and still makes a noise untill the car stops, anyone no what it could be? its not like i could check where its coming from either because theres no noise when not moving... anyone help?

   wheel bearing?would explain the noise happening when its out of gear too as it has to be a constantly moving part.

   Similar thing happened to my VTR last year or year before I think it was but it was more when changing gear and clutch was down. Turned out to be the drive shafts so had em both replaced.

   Exactly same thing is happening on mine got told it was release bearing on clutch going new clutch coming Tue so hopefully will solve the problem

   I can sometimes feel bit of nocking around the pedal area so is say driveshafts so.gna get them checked out
