GTI spoiler on a saxo boot lid?

    Hi guys, is a 106 GTI spoiler a stright fit (bar the mounting bolts) to a saxo boot lid?? i.e no cutting and fibre glassing? thanks

    i dont think it does mate, i know the mk1 vt spoiler fits ontop of the gti spoiler but i dont think it fits directly to the saxo.

    thats what i mean, i think it might fit with a bit of a fiddle though.

    No. Gti spoiler takes a lot of re-shaping to properly fit the saxo tailgate

    ye this is true, it did look ok in the flesh though, however the guy that bought the car didnt like it so yanked it of so hey presto i now have a mk 2 spoiler

    the funny thing is we drove to leighton to collect his car bout 240 miles round trip for me, and we stopped half way home for food, and he ripped it off in a maccy d's carpark lol just left to big holes in the gti cus the saxo one was bolted on.

    he really is a bodge though everything he does is held on with either tiger seal or ducktape

    gti spoiler HAS been done on a saxo!!

    looks great,not on top of the saxo spoiler though..

    Yep did it on mine. Took a bit of working but one of my favourite bits that I did to the saxo
