Respraying

   i know you need to notify the DVLA if you change the colour, but what if you just change the shade? See my car is the '98 very dark blue and id prefer it it the lighter blue.. but on my log book it just says blue so would i need to let them know?

   mauritious blue to posiden blue would need a change, i'd have thought.
   
   saying that, i'm not sure what the V5 says? if just blue, then i doubt you'd need to inform them.

   yeah it litterally just says blue so i it got me thinking(never a good thing).. Cheers anyway buddy, reckon there will be some geek who pops up knowing it inside out though haha

   im sure if it's just blue on the V5 then you wouldn't need to inform anyone, afterall blue covers a whole host of shades

    Yeah same as like.. I knew there werent many around when i bought it but i thought it was because people didnt like it haha

    Posi is a horrid shade definatly prefer maritius and its rarer so kinda cooler to own
    Still miss my maritius vts

    Blue to blue won't need to be changed.
    
    When I did blackto yellow I thaught it was better to tell the dvla lol..

    I love posi blue.... But alex is right, the darker shade is rarer!

    i would definately stick with the dark blue, as others have said its a uncommon colour and i would have one any day over my black one. But thats my opinion mate.
