Yokohama Parada Vs. Toyo Proxes T1R

Hey all ! Was just wondering whats it worth doing ? Going for the Paradas 195/50/15s or the (What everyone has) Proxes 195/45/15 . . . ? Has anyone got experience of them both or just any comments on which are better for performance and life thanks a lot !

    Both shit.

Parada's get up to heat too quick and melt. The sidewalls are silly soft and the shoulders wear through, the split tread pattern means they wear unevenly. Theyre not great in the wet.

Proxes aint that good either, no good in the wet and not the best in the dry. They wear out quick too.

Id get Uniroyal Rainsport 2's which id put on the samelevel as goodyear eagle f1 gsd3's which are much much better tyres in both wet and dry.

I would say parada's personally were not too good, the back end wanted to go all over the shop with them, especially in the wet, ive had t1r's and they were definatly better, but still in the wet not so good. I have got some hankook ventus prime's on all 4 wheels now, and i absolutely love them, obviously just my opinion but i prefer them to any others ive tried, they seem to be making a name for themselves now too!

steer well clear of prada's. had them on my gt-four and they were pants, down right dangerous in the wet.

Lol thanks for the replys guys, further investigation for other tyres is required then lol

Ive had both and i prefer the paradas for dry and toyos for wet,

I prefered Falken ZE-912's over anything toyo offered for the road.

If you can find them Eagle F1 gsd3s are amazing.

Had Toyo's and hated them don't know why people rave on about them.

Not a case of being loaded IMO. 888s are so pointless on the road, you won't be able to even get them hot enough let alone keep them hot enough to gain any benefit from them on public roads...

Most people have them just for pub talk.

And lol at getting through a set every couple of thousand miles from road driving. You could easily get 8k on road driving if at correct pressures etc

I had both t1r and rainsport 2 and rainsport 2 are soo much better wet and dry but a lot better in the wet.

I really didn't like t1r.... I fell the rainsports 2 give better grip.

Few people using federal 595 Rsr and say they are just as good as 888 and are cheaper.

I might be able to get a good deal with them I'll ring tomorrow see what they offer.

Get a good deal on silverstone type RR semi slicks. The guys I get them from are main dealers for silverstone and federal tryes.

    Performance doesnt bother me

It's all about the sexy tread pattern on the Toyos
