ive just fitted a universal air filter to my car as the airbox pipes were missing/in a poor state. ive fitted a mini breather to the rocker cover and a cone filter to the inlet. theres a pipe (tps pipe possibly) that isnt connected to anything. could i just get another mini breather fitted to it just until i get a silicone t pipe? cheers peeps.

#2Be careful 1 of those pipes is a vacuum pipe for the brake servo & needs to be connected mate.

#3I put my thumb overt the end of it and it cut the engine.. Will a mini breather be ok for it? Its the only thing which is stopping me from using the car now.

#4I would post pics or check the Haynes. It may not need to be exposed to atmosphere (even via a filter) and thus is drawing in air that is not known by the ecu causing a lean mixture, poor performance, less MPG, hotter engine etc.
