Ticking noise when I lift off or press accelerator

   There is a ticking noise coming from somewhere under the bonnet. It seems to happen when the engine moves from side to side like when the accelerator is on/off.
   
   any ideas?

   About 1000 things it could be. Open bonnet, run the engine and use the throttle valve to rev the engine. If you don't know what it is then get someone to press the accelerator and see the part that moves
   
   Then try and identify where abouts the noise is coming from

   Check the spark plugs are tight.
   
   I thought it was my tappits.. however it turned out to be a loose plug.

   I've tried revving the engine and looking for it but it only seems to do it while the car is moving or when its on biting point, could it be the clutch?
