A few minor things...

Given my Saxo a good look over today, and there are a few things I've been wondering about it since I bought it that I'd like to clear up.

Firstly, in the engine bay, there is a pipe that isn't connected to anything. The previous owner has put a novelty air filter on, so from looking at pictures of standard air filters, I gathered it's usually connected to those. Looking around here a bit, I now think it's the oil breather pipe, but I'm not entirely sure what to do with it until I can get a standard induction kit / something better. Here's a pic:

    Where should I put it?

Next, seeing as the ride is pretty horrible, I was hoping to adjust the shocks. The previous owner said they'd been uprated, but looking at them, I have no idea what they are except that the rear ones are Koni. Hoping someone could identify them, and tell me whether or not they're adjustable and how to go about it:

    Front shocks and springs:

(sorry for lack of detail in this one)

Rear: (also, the red bar doesn't match the rest... is this an uprated torsion bar/ARB?)

    Thanks.

for the pipe you can either put a small breather on it or an oil catch tank, or like you said get a different induction with a place to fit it to. most induction kits designed for saxos have a place for the pipe to clip on

    Cheers

So what exactly is the pipe for? Just to stop pressure building up in the oil? And what happens if I run without one? It's not been there for a while, and doesn't seem to have caused any real issues.
