it bugged me cos i went out on a PRIVATE strip and whilst goin one way that is downhill i hit the 120 and stayed there for a while and wanted to know what speed i was actually doing. is puttin 140 clocks in easy or does anything have to be adjusted

no worth doing really as the speedos arnt really that accurate. your better off getting on of those satellite things that go on the dash.

Can't see why it'd need callibrating? my AX has 1.1 forte clocks and the speedo pickup from a saxo vtr and they are only 1mph out compared to my GPS, the 1.1 pickup was only 3mph out anyway but I stepped on it by accident when I took it out to pu into the GTi box lol

Were talkin about W reg VTR's Steve there's bound to be a difference in top end speed between a VTR and a VTS, hence y the clock would go alot higher in a VTS!
