Gear Stick Loose Floppy Sloppy

To access the bushings that make a floppy gear stick from inside the car, (instead or having to get under it). I remember the last time i open up my gear housing i could see the ground ?

    Cheers

You probably need a new pin on the middle linkage of the gearbox.

You'll need to do it from underneath and possibly remove a heat sheild to tighten up the pivot pin thingy.

I ordered the roll pin from a peugeot garage, there the same so if there is one of them near by give them a call.

Also you prob best replacing the 2 bushings on the gear stick to eliminate any slack there.

I ordered all 3 parks for about 15 quid. Going to put them in this week and ill post pics later...

Could also be the ball on the pivot it comes off sometimes and makes it very wobbily on change

    The roll pin is common
