Standard Manifold

   Hello
   
   My standard manifold has cracked in half, i have a raceland to fit once the dealers has the bits in to move my oil filter.
   Will I notice any difference once the raceland is fitted?

   yer it should feel abit faster more responsive

   Is there any benefits of heat wrapping the manifold, as ive heared it can cause more problems than not wrapping?

   on a mildy tuned engine the only reall difference to wrapping a manifold will be slightly lower temps in the bay... which in turn "could" lead to slightly lower induction temps, but if you haveagood induction kit with a good cold air feed there really isnt any benefit from a technical point of view, does look neater though

   A raceland manifold should pick up the revs a fair bit faster than a standard manifold

   after i fitted a raceland mani to my gti, I noticed a difference in acceleration and it also seemed to make my pugsport more raspy

   Thanks for the responses guys, hopefully it will be done tomorrow as long as i can get hold of a 10mm tap
