BMC Side effects??

   Ive just swapped my old pipercross air filter for a bmc enclosed kit, when i started it up again i noticed the engine sounded abit "raspier" i assumed it was because of the filter but wasnt sure so had a look around and noticed that there was a few drops of water falling from the clamp on my exhaust just before the backbox and a small hiss coming from it.
   
   i swapped the filter back and it has stopped hissing but still a few drops of water
   
   could this be because of the filter or is that just coincidence
   
   any thoughts or is it normal and just me noticing it for the first time

   coincidence, water will find its way through the smallest holes.

   and then the different noise i assume is just from the filter
