106Gti Knocking Noise at rear?

   Hi all, i have just got myself a 106Gti, great little car!
   Only problem it seems to knock i think at the rear of the car when turning left to right when moving. Or even when i move away from stationery, actually makes the noice in reverse also, its worse over uneven road surface.
   
   Anyone give me some ideas on what this could be? i will hopefully be jacking up the car some point this week and have a look!
   
   any advise would be great

   i got the same noise i got told it was the arb bolts.. so ive changed them ect and its still doing it :/

   If the noise is like two glass bottles hitting together, it's usually loose ARB end plate bolts.

   play in axle maybe...i had similar sort of thing happen in my vtr couple weeks ago there was play in axle arm had to replace axle
