i'm saving money atm to get my car lowered
so alloys are out of the question (for now)

and i cant stand the hub caps on my car atm
(see my progress thread for photo)

i was thinking of just getting some hub caps for the time being
    but some nice looking ones

i saw these on ebay and i just wanted to know if you all think they look okay or tacky, im torn

tbh, when i do get vtr alloys i want to spray them up like this
    black and red outer ring

    what do you think?

Theyre good i had those ones before i got alloys, if your steelies are rusted you might wanna spray them black so you cant notice them as much behind the wheel trims.

and for the red outer ring you can just get some rim tape on the alloys

My advice to you would be keep what youve got at the moment, those hubbies would be a waste of money at like £30 as you can get a set of VTR wheels for £50

Bide your time and get the mods you want as your only throw that out in the future.

Im gonna agree with everyone else... If you're not happy with the hubcaps then pull them off, give the wheels a clean and paint with matt black paint. You'll be suprised how different it'll look once it's lowered

A quick & easy/cheap method of livening up steelies is to wash them dry them off then spray with wd40(won`t last forever)but will give them a shine.

i think it would be a bit of a waste spending £30 on temporary hub caps. mayaswell just wait it out until you get alloys. Could always paint your steels some groovy colours for the time being? go to b&q or halfords and look at how many different colours you could go for..

do each wheel a different colour with a different colour lip
