Removing backbox. spoiler

   Got my first car the other day, a 2000 reg, cit saxo. Had a spoiler, alloys and a backbox.
   
   Just discovered that maybe my insurance company should know re all this, even though over the phone nothing was asked when taking the details for the quote.
   
   I want to have the backbox removed by a Mechanic, however unsure if this will cost a fortune? What price should I be looking at?
   
   The spolier i have been told was the orginal, came with it. However I'm not 100% convinced, anybody able to clear up for me?

   Spoiler will be ok
   
   You should ring and tell your insurance about your backbox and declare it will host about 20 quid

   The backbox should take a few minutes to change m8 its 2 13mm bolts on a clamp and 2 mounting rubbers, not sure what model (vtr/vts) but they are pretty much similar, original spoiler should mount thru two holes in the actual hatch window if that helps at all

   The insurance company is asking what size ,type and cost of alloys. Not got a clue re the size.
   
   The backbox they're asking what type, again no idea. The same for the spoiler.
   
   
   None of this was asked when doing the quote over the phone, starting to freak out!

   So this car the X reg 1.1 was made with the spoiler? I thought the last owner put it on, if it was original that means I don't need to mention it?

   Forgot to mention, the car also has alloys. Have not got a clue re them.

   What size of tyre will I need, as prob going to take the alloys off save this hastle and poss increase to insurance.

   Tell the insurance about the spoiler! They add on about 10-20bhp!

    The insurance company is fine re the alloys and the spolier )) The backbox needs to go though. Why, anybody have ideas?
