Hi guys havent been on here in a while!
its coming up too 6 months now that ive owned my vts and its just hit 80k came close to selling it at 1 point but now decided to keep it and mod the engine
ive bought a 'ported' head done by rickyp-rpm on ebay 2nd hand
going to order cat cams, supersprint exhaust system ive already got raceland 4-2-1 mani on it
get the head skimmed, and build it using the valves etc from my current head
uprated metal head gasket set, and of course new water pump, cam belt and head bolts, and most likely replace the conrod shells to be on the safe side
also get a proper panel filter and finally get it mapped by track and road in rainham/purfleet essex
also going to get a poly lower engine mount as mine is fucked and knocking nothing unusual there!
306 gti front brakes, was thinking standard disc with green stuff pads?
hopefully get some fairly good bhp figures what would you guys roughly estimate?
also id like to know what would be the best oil to run it on once ive done all this and how long to run the shells and cams in? and 1 more thing does any1 know the sizes of the standard ports on a vts head?
