Hey guys, got a VTR, might sell it and buy a smaller engine, got raped on insurance even though I had a great quote for it, typically I didn't follow it up and going from £1,400 fully comp to £1,700 tpft.. :|.
Ok there is a battery problem, I'll be driving about and I'll hear it shorting under the glove box (I aced an electrician course when I left school so I know the sound). Might be a loose connecting or damaged cables, problem is idk how to get in there to sort it, or how to disconnect the battery lmao (I'm a car noob).
Number 2, this electrical problem has made the PaS intermittent, basically intermittent is actually 98% of the time off 2% on, and that 2% is like a 1/8th turn to the left. Lol. It had a brand new pump (£300..) 4 years ago. But a mechanic told the owner it'd cost about £150. Not sure if I could do it myself but if anyone knew exactly what it was I might be able to fix it.
Other than that I'd be happy. I have a mate who knows loads of mechanics and reckons he'll sort me out cheap, so I might go there, but I would like to just have a go and learn my way around my car.
Also how shite are the default headunits? Won't play my CD-RW
, which sucks. And I pulled my aerial off because some twat had glued in on and I tried to move it up and they had managed to glue the roller system thing that moves it up and down and boom.. Pulled it off lmao.
Anyways, thanks Sax Pers!
Also alloys must weigh alot? And VTR's sound soooo nice.
