Rough handling, back end wants to slide out too easily.

To be fair, from when i bought the saxo i noticed it was a little more tail happy than my fiesta. But i assumed this to be to do with the weight balance and heard it to be normal.

However, recently ive noticed it getting worse. Just wondering if people have had the same problem, and what it could be before i get it in the garage. Im not even sure exactly how the rear suspension is set up as i am yet to have this car in the air ha. Could it be something to do with the rear suspension though? That would be my first guess!

Maybe your axle? Does it have camber on the rear wheels?

Check your axle and tighten everything up

Sounds a bit daft (you've probably checked this already), but too much air in your rear tyres? That would certainly do it.

Drive in a straight line, wobble steering wheel side to side.. Does it feel like the back ends connected? No? rear beams fucked.

i had this problem for my rear axle being to low and stiff then gets worse when the beam started to go, also i kno its sounds silly but make sure tyre tread is facing correct way as well as pressure lol also jack the car up from the rear and see if theres play in either side of the beam to

If you have fitted some sticky tyres to the front then the back will feel looser, also if you have fitted cheap tyres to the back. As above tyre pressures play a big part ina light weight car like the saxo as well.

look for suspension, axle, shit tyres, tyre pressure.

I'd check rear axle, that's how mine felt and when i got home i found a lot of play in near side bushes and off side bolt holding torsion bar end plate had snapped with the bar just wobbling around
