Slight Problem(S)

    Just doing abit of maintenance to my car and i cannot help but notice my headlights have a cover over the bulb, this cover looks as if it dramaticly reduces the light which the bulb could produce. i'm wondering if this is standard to saxo's or if someone has put these on. my sidelights also have purple bulbs, so i'm wondering if the previous owner has been pissing about down there.

    Also the button which works the fan doesn't actually work, the fan itself works when the engine gets warm and the heater heats the car albeit very slowly because of the lack of fan power

    Final question, i see the interiors of some saxo's have the plates sprayed, the air vent surrounds, the speaker covers in the doors etc i was wondering if there was a guide on here of how to dismantle these to spray.

    The bulb "covers" are standard on saxo's but the sidelights must have been changed.. and I think you mean by fan the blowers inside the car? if its not coming on when u turn the knob then i would say either a fuse has gone or the motor itself has gone which you can replace pretty cheaply.. check fuses first though.

    There wil be a guide somewhere on here if you search but its basically pretty easy, for the side vents they just pop out if u pull them or lever them out, centre console has a couple of torx bolts in if u get ur head down and look up from below u will see them, just undo them and it will pull out then obviously unclip the wiring from behind it and take out your stereo before you pull it out, then obviously just reverse to put it back togeather once you have sprayed it

    yes, it's factory. Leave them on or fail your MOT
