Saxo mk2 vtr immobilise query

   hi all, i have a question about the immobiliser... i have had loads of problens with my immobiliser and spent over £200 just to get it sorted ( me thinks the guy seen me coming haha), now this worked.... although failed after 4 weeks at which point i gave up and put the car off the road,,,im now giving it a go myself... so i bout a ecu, transponer, ignition barel key, fob etc off of ebay and am in the process of fitting this myself hoever they key was attatched to the fuel cap and wasnt for budging.... snapped off during an attempt to free it. took the chip of of the remainder of the key and carried on.. after fitting new ecu, and new transponder and placed chip on ignition barrel... no sucess however.. took off the brain ring ( i thinks thats what its called ) and noticed several digits on this..... is this the code for the immobiliser?????

   Easy solution. Take the immobiliser box out, fit an unlocked ecu. No more immobiliser.

   also would it not be cheaper just re- programming they key, start the car and then disconnecting the transponder (assuming that works)?

   ohh anothe question, how can u get the chip from the key without damaging it?????

   ok, so i got an unlocked ecu but the fuel pump, any suggestions???????
