urgent noise help

the VTR has been in the garage 3 times now ive paid for all sorts of shit to get done, the car is making a rubbing noise almost like metal plates its constant when u have the clutch down and you are going 30 plus sometimes it can happen when u have no feet on the pedals whilst going 30 plus some1 here said its the thurst bearing its not that its not brakes its not the clutch as far as the eye can see ( without taking the gearbox out ) not anything as far as 2 mechanics can see when its on the ramp he said to me today after charging £50 for a new ball joint the next step is to take the gearbox out and check the bearings

can anyone help ? im starting to think i should consult a dealership to find the problem then approach a garage to repair if a sound clip would help i can get 1 easily its quite loud

Sounds to me like it's just the wheel bearings? Had it before, it's a whirring rubbing noise that increases the faster you go. It's a possibility..

This is odd, my last car that I recently got rid of had a similar thing. Circular sounding scraping coming from a rear, almost as if it was coming from the drums. Maybe it's something similar?

its worth a look nothing to lose i feel its more to the front of the car i swear i feel my feet vibrate at times when its really loud
