   Nothing illegal about it? Loads of people have them. That one will just add a different tone to the car and make it louder.

   Possibly no and possibly yes. There is no law requiring silences however there are laws about a vehicles sound levels. However the wording is very subjective as there is no actually limit rather a wording of a vehicle producing excessive levels.

    Only time you gotta worry is when your car doesnt have a cat, from the cat back you can basically do what you like aslong as it has an exhaust.
