Daytime running lights for saxo

   Hi friends. I have a 2000 1.5 diesel saxo and I want to upgrade my cor to led daylights.    none of them im afraid looks cheep and tacky. best way to go about it is to open your headlights and stick em inside there.

   I've only ever seen one car pull them off out of the hundereds who try.

   I want them for day driving not for good looking In my opinion they are very useful, the cars using these draw much more attention when driving.

    what are they usefull for? and there only there to look good, and only look good on audis.nothing else suits em. they do nothing at all for driving quality if thats what you are after. and the only attention you will get im sorry to say is pfffffttt hahahahahaaaa look at state of that. sorry if im being harsh but im trying to stop you doing something stupid and you will regret and get bullied for

    You have contradicted yourself there. You don't want them for looks but want them to attract attention?

    Of course good looking is important but what I wanted to tell is that I want to do them for security more than modification like angel eyes.

    They are daytime running lights, is there anything wrong with understanding? Daytime as mentioned.

    put them in your grill, then you can act like a police car and shout "nee naw" out the window whilst flicking your sidelights on and off .

    ok ok you use it that way I think in your country there is not much sunny days I live in Turkey and sometimes sun shine makes you blind and you notice the cars using daylight much more than the others. You carry on using fog lights in UK.

    It's so that the shit drivers, have more chance of seeing you. And less likely to pull out on you. Like how bikers have their headlights on whenever they go out.

    tint your fogs yellow like i have (not a saxo) they are my daytime/fog lights. nobody flashes me and ive not have any chew from the rozzers.

    Whilst I understand where your coming from mate & yes their are some idiot drivers who don`t look out for motorbikes it`s not much fun being nearly half blinded by a motorcyclist behind you with a bright headlight.I think a lot more should be done to educate drivers regarding motorcyclists.

    I understand your point, being a driver and a motorcyclist I see it from both sides.
    
    However, I don't find dipped beams to be that distracting. I'd rather car drivers be pissed at me rather than killing me. All bikers do it, as your easily at danger

    some people i work with have them on there cars and its strange i always thought that the sun light the roads during the day so there is not much real point in these

    Doe's your car have it's own sun? It's so other road users are more aware of you, thus making it less likely for them to not see you and pull out on you.

    they look shocking on any car without them standard to be honest. new german cars can pull them off but all i ever see around here are taxis and chavs in corsas etc. with ebay specials and it really looks horrific.

    not to keen tbh because now you have to get led sidelights, headlights, and fog light bulbs to match ure driving lights or at night u will look like a plonker nothing worse than a half arsed job same goes for hid's only look good if all the lights on the front of your car are the same if i had really wanted them i would off put them in my lower grille not the top one

    I respect to your ideas friends but this is not a vts, so I dont put angels on it, it looks more tacky, this is just a 57 hp car. I just want to be more visible on daytime. You are right at some points, I will put power leds to my park lights and I think it will smooth the tone of yellow light. If it does not, then I will change them with osram white. This is just an experimental job, if I dont like them then I can take them off or change their place. In my opinion they are very useful, they are like fog lights and I can see the road more easily with them and they brighten the upper objects too. This is a cheap application also, I dont want to spend hundreds of dollars.

    always have my sidelights on. or even headlights. people can't fucking complain then
