De Wipering, what fluids do I need to make the rain run off?

    Does anyone know the name of the fluids required for the rain to run off the windows as I am de wipering this weekend and would like the peace of mind since the weather is crap atm!

    iv never used anything. just keepin the car clean does a good enough job i think

    Rain-x i`ve heard is good,but I use good old wax.

    sorry to hijack your thread but i was looking at dewipering at the weekend. and iv notice numerous of times that people have mentioned a bung thats in the boot you can use. but if i was to take that out it would leave an inch gap to the outside... surely this could cause water to leakin in through the bottom. and as iv got an amp there i dont want this to happen

    Water doesnt travel upwards lol however i sell grommits for £1 posted, if you dont want to risk it

    I just use Polish then Wax the rear window, runs off fine.
