problem when fitting griffiths engineering Quick Shift

   Right... i tried to fit my quickshift after work today and i know where it goes but i took the original gear linkage off and tried to fit it but it wouldnt slip over the little ball thing.... I think it might be engineered wrong or im doing it wrong. Just need a little bit of advice...

   i got one off ebay had to file the circle out a bit so it fitted properly

   yeah i did start to file it down but gave up, will give it another go in the morning...

   a mate of mine had the same thing, persist with the file mate
