16v wont start, is my ecu locked?!

   Their is nothing to say my ecu is locked on the dash. I turned the key on the engine earlier to see if it would start. It turns over fine, but wont fire up.
   
   I think it may be that the ecu is locked. Is their a way to check this for certain? I dont really want to send if off it it isn't already locked...

   Just about everything i need to. It's all plugged in. Nothing missing. It just doesn't start when i turn the key. Im 90% sure it's the ecu thats stopping it. Im not sure how to found out though. I have no light on the dash that indicates their is a problem.

   Fuel pump priming?
   
   Pressed the big red button?
   
   Are you getting spark?
